On 23 November 2014, we took the kids for a ride on the newly launched Penang Hop On Hop Off Bus. During the first week of the launch, rides were free-of-charge.
We decided to wait at the Gurney Plaza stop. Apparently, we were not the only ones who wanted to take advantage of the free rides. The queue was really long. We waited for about 2 hours from about 9.30am before we managed to board the bus. We wanted to give up but the kids insisted, "No, we must not give up."
We managed to sit on the top deck in a fully air-conditioned coach, not the novel half-open-air-top-deck coach. The kids were happy.
