He seems to love counting. He's now able to count 2 to 10. Maybe it's because we always say 1 for him. He doesn't always get the sequence right and occasionally mixes up 6 and 9. But we think he's doing pretty well, given that he's not even turned two! He is also learning to recognise letters of the alphabet (he knows "O" the best).
Other observations:
- He's able to sit with us through dinner most of the time now when eating out.
- He also stays in church throughout mass without much fuss. Of course, we bring some books and quiet toys to keep him occupied.
- He hasn't outgrown his picky eating habits. In fact, he's more difficult now because he's refusing to eat rice and porridge at home. Noodles haven't worked either.
- He often wants to eat from the plate with his mouth - like a dog...hmmm...
- He likes to play 'masak-masak' (cooking) complete with cutting fruits and adding seasoning with sound effects. He even says "stir" and "pour" appropriately.
- He's hooked on Pocoyo, an animated children's series.

[Eating like a dog: Our baby sitter happens to dog-sit sometimes. So, we think he's imitating the dog *slaps forehead*]

Hahaha, Lucas eats like a 'dog' too and frequently forgets no. 6 when he counts :)
Wah, the way he works out... can ask Jackie Chan to move aside ;-)
