More than once, Julian has gotten up from sleep crying and wanting Mummy to comfort him. The problem is it takes him a while to calm down and sometimes Justin is awakened by his crying. Oh me, oh my, when that happens because then Justin also wants Mummy to get him back to sleep! Justin's ultimate 'weapon' is he wants 'nen nen' (to feed). Julian will insist (practically screaming by now...) Daddy should carry Justin or he doesn't want Justin. The thing is if Julian doesn't get back to sleep, Justin can't fall asleep either with all the wailing! And as long as Justin is awake he will insist (also screaming) he wants Mummy too! We get into this catch-22 situation and neither boy wants to share. The one-lap-each offer gets no takers.
Daddy tries to help as best he can...

we have the same problem with es, ms and ls. When ls/ms were about to arrive, we got ah ma (lucky us) to start sleeping with es. Initially when the twins arrived we tried to have them sleep together on the same bed, but it was a disaster, one waking another up, and worst is when both start trying to out do another in wailing. Finally... ms sleeps with daddy, ls sleeps with mummy and es sleep with ah ma all in separate rooms. And we sleep happily ever after, after that :).
Are you all co-sleeping? The dad can't really help either because neither kid wants him when it's dark at night.
No. 2 is usually ok when she sees my face and hears my voice and also I give her a kiss and tell her to wait while I settle the kor-kor. She'll watch for 1/2 a minute but I'm numb to her whining already hahaha
No. 1 is tougher as he's usually had a nightmare etc. Need to wake him up, give a drink of water, change the diaper and then scold him to keep quiet! hahaha
