Julian finally came home yesterday (Friday, 1 June 2007) after staying an extra day due to jaundice. Mummy Angie was discharged on Thursday (31 May 2007).
Julian's first day at home gave us a whole new experience of being first-time parents. The routine of caring for a newborn - feeding and cleaning - is tiring and frustrating but absolutely priceless... nothing to guide you except for your faith and instinct, no one to help you except for your family and friends, and no one to journey with you except your spouse and God.

congrats...both of u look really happy! especially the mummy!
Congratulations!!! Welcome to Julian - photos please =) The sneak peek shows that he looks a bit like his cousin Gabriel ya?
Here's a sneak preview:
1st month - trauma as baby adjusts to the world and parents adjust to having baby
2nd month - baby fixes HIS routine of drinking, sleeping, looking cute but parents may still be in shock and wearily wonders "Is this what having a baby is about?"
3rd month - baby sticks to his routine with some odd deviations but parents start to breathe easier "So this is why people have babies" =)
Enjoy the first few months!!! They do get better and don't be shy about asking for help. Bart, remember photos of Angie breastfeeding ya when she's comfy about it. I forgot to take any of this priceless bonding.
Congratulations! Yu N...
He looks so cute! :)
And I am expecting more happy posts from you in this blog...
